Ameya Kerala Hotel - Alappuzha

Great views, but cleanliness was shocking, and those noisy crows are unbearable! I almost thought my laundry disaster with my pink suit wouldn't affect my stay, but here we are. It would ve been lovely to receive a complimentary gesture for that inconvenience instead of feeling like one of the crowd. Just couldn't recommend it!

The staff was outstandingly accommodating and incredible and the views were stunning. We booked an a double room, it was huge and beautiful. The vibe here was special.

The proximity to the serene Vembanad Lake made our morning walks enchanting, and the local cuisine was a good culinary experience that reflected Kerala's rich flavors.

it is a nicely decorated hotel with stunning view across the lake. respectful staff, the rooms are big size and stylish. open bathroom is beautiful. the location is magnificent and amazing, 5 minutes' walk to a hindu temple.

Lake. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was excellent, although the air conditioning struggled a bit during a particularly humid spell. It was a nice stay with friendly staff.

Stepping into this retreat feels like entering a lush paradise right on the lake. The tranquil surroundings, combined with the saltwater swimming pool, created the perfect ambiance for relaxation. I loved the private balcony where dining was an experience in itself, with home-cooked meals prepared from local produce.

Picturesque views! the sunlight streaming in through the large windows made me feel like I was in a portrait by a master painter. the rural setting and natural beauty of the backwaters were like a serene symphony for my soul, creating a truly magical experience.

We enjoyed exploring the serene surroundings, especially the canoe ride through the village and the good cruise on a riceboat. The gardens were beautiful and added to the overall relaxation. Don't miss out on the delicious home-cooked meals while enjoying the fine views!

Sadly, one staff member was quite rude during check-out. It was unexpected since the rest of the staff were friendly.

The breakfast was superb, and the staff were wonderful and helpful. the location was excellent, just off Vembanad Lake. the rooms were large, well-designed, and clean. Each cottage had an outside veranda overlooking a small canal, which was excellent. the pool was lovely, and there were happy ducks on the property.

The cleanliness of the cottages was very poor, with lots of mosquitoes and insects. the property was located quite far from popular areas like Kumarakom or Alleppy, making it necessary to book transportation in advance.

A huge thank you for the incredible experience here at this beautifully designed hotel surrounded by serene nature and with a fantastic location; the staff were top-notch and super accommodating.
